Google Maps Ludocid Extractor

Pull the Ludocid (CID) value out of any Google Maps or Knowledge Panel URL in one paste so you can build review links, deep links and API queries fast. Built for local SEOs auditing Google Maps listings.

The Google Maps Ludocid extractor pulls the Ludocid value (also called the CID) out of any Google Maps share URL, Knowledge Panel link, or maps.google.com/?cid= address in a single paste. The Ludocid is the unique numeric identifier Google assigns to a business listing, and once you have it you can build clean review links, deep links, and API queries without hunting through messy URL strings by hand.

To use it, paste a Google Maps place URL or a Knowledge Panel URL into the box and click Extract. The tool runs locally in your browser, scanning the text for a direct cid= parameter, a ludocid= value, or the 0x...:0x... hex FID pattern that appears in Google Maps data strings. When it finds the hex form, it decodes it to the decimal CID for you, then hands back the matching cid= deep link and a Google Maps review link you can copy or download.

Local SEOs auditing Google Business Profiles use the Ludocid to confirm they are looking at the exact right listing, to generate one-click review request links for clients, and to feed rank tracking and reporting tools. Everything here is client-side, so your URLs never leave your machine, and you can grab the CID for as many listings as you like at no cost.

FAQ

What is a Ludocid in a Google Maps URL?

Ludocid is short for "local universal document CID", the long number that uniquely identifies a single Google Maps business listing. It can appear directly as ludocid= or cid= in a URL, or it can be hidden inside a hexadecimal feature ID like 0x0:0x88a3... that this tool decodes into the decimal CID with BigInt math.

How do I turn a hex FID into a decimal CID?

The second half of a Google Maps feature ID (the part after the colon, for example 0x88a3e...) is the CID written in hexadecimal. Convert that hex value to a base-10 number and you have the Ludocid. This extractor does the conversion automatically, so you just paste the full URL and read off the decimal result.

What can I build with the extracted CID?

Once you have the CID you can create a stable maps.google.com/?cid= deep link, a Google review request link to send customers, and queries for local rank tracking or audit APIs. If you want to track how that listing ranks across a real geo grid, you can start free with ProMapRanker.
