Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026. This policy explains what ProMapRanker (operated by Rankite LLC, Katy, Texas, USA) collects and why.
1. What we collect
Account data (email, name, password hash). Usage data (scans you run: keywords, business names, locations, results, and credit transactions). Technical data (IP, browser, device marker) for security and abuse-prevention. We do not sell your data.
2. How we use it
To operate the Service (run scans, store reports, manage credits), to secure accounts, to process payments via our provider, and to provide support. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent, and our legitimate interest in securing the Service.
3. Subprocessors
We share data only as needed with: DataForSEO (search-ranking data provider - receives the keyword/location of each scan), Paddle (payment processor / merchant of record - handles your payment details; we never see full card numbers), and our hosting provider. Each processes data only to provide its service.
4. Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in, plus a long-lived device marker used only to prevent free-trial abuse. We do not use advertising trackers.
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your scans and personal data.
6. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for a short period afterward as needed for legal, security, and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions are signed, and cookies are HTTP-only and secure. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
